It's been a while since I saw the firs God of Gamblers, but I did see both sequels and the Casino Raiders movies, and I really couldn't see anything resembling exceptional visual flourish when it came to the gambling; if anything, it was the editing that made scenes work. The observations made seem to more reverse-snobbery more than anything.
